The Research and Innovative Technology Administration (RITA) is dedicated solely to the advancement of the U.S. Department
of Transportation (USDOT, US DOT or DOT) research and innovative technology program. RITA allows the Department to more effectively
coordinate and manage the Department's research portfolio and expedite implementation of cross-cutting innovative technologies.
